Conifers
These prehistoric gems have passed the test of time and have a continued popularity. They are equally at home both in an Asian or Mediterranean style garden.
Ground cover conifers provide a low maintenance evergreen carpet whilst pencil pines provide form and structure. Available in a large range of colours and textures perhaps our favourites would be:
- Juniperus ‘Sabina’ – groundcover form perfect for mass planting
- Thuja ‘Smaragd’
- Juniperus ‘Spartan’
- Juniperus pyramidalis
- Cupressus ‘Leighton Green’ – Perfect for hedging in very windy exposed sites.
